Thursdays 6/17, 6/24, 7/1, 7/8, 7/15
Ballet A - Beginner (45min)
6:00pm - 6:45pm
Ballet B - Intermediate (90min)
6:00pm - 7:30pm
Ballet A focuses on working safe turnout while seated on the floor and then working at the barre. This portion of the class is suited for all levels but is especially helpful for students new to ballet. For the intermediate or advanced dancer, Ballet B includes the barre portion of class and then moves away from the barre to continue working in the center of the room. The second section of class will focus on balance, turns, jumps, and contemporary ballet choreography. Ballet B is best suited for intermediate and advanced dancers; it gives the dancer a strong technical warm-up alongside Ballet A students before diving into more advanced work away from the barre.
These classes are structured for adults but teens ages 13+ are also welcome to join. Please wear comfortable clothing that you can move while wearing and soft soled dance shoes. If you do not have dance shoes you are welcome to take class barefoot.
*PLEASE NOTE: We are currently still masking for indoor class offerings and limiting class size to allow for social distancing.*
