Fundamentals of Stage Presence
A 4-Week Series with Kiki LaChanteuse
Sundays October 3, 10, 17, & 24, 2021
Have you ever asked yourself: What is ‘stage presence'?
In this series we will explore that question together. It’s time to change the narrative around stage presence and the perception that it can be taught in one class or possibly not at all. It’s a lifelong journey. This four class series may be the start of a long term goal. How you convey stage presence is ever evolving and ever developing. Especially as you as a human being grow and develop, your stage presence will grow and develop alongside your artistry.
- Week 1 (10/3/2021) - Confidence: What it is and how do we find it?
Week 2 (10/10/2021) - The Principles of Stage Presence
Week 3 (10/17/2021) - Take Imposter Out of Your Vocabulary
Week 4 (10/24/2021) - Ready to Take the Stage
This series is great for performers, public speakers, singers, dancers, and entertainers of all kinds. We’ll start with a foundation of building confidence and add on from there. Presence is about the individual experience. Oftentimes ideology around stage presence is tied to imagery but being on stage is independent storytelling. You are the author who writes the story of your authentic self. You can receive suggestions and guidance on how to get there, but it’s your work that ultimately ends up on stage. This series will focus on the elements you can work on and refine before you ever step into the spotlight.
